Minimalist and Stylish Australian Wedding at The Library, Koh Samui - NATASHA IGILLETT PHOTOGRAPHY

Chris + Rose

The Library - Koh Samui Thailand

Chris and Rose have a shared passion for travel and had their dreams set on a destination wedding in Thailand. They are both from Sydney, Australia and their guest-list consisted of close friends and family from around the world. The result was an unmatched intimate and stylishly rustic celebration at the iconic and luxurious Library Hotel on Koh Samui's Chaweng Beach

The day started with Chris and his groomsmen getting ready at their private pool villa on Chaweng Noi. After a steep 20 minutes drive uphill I was rewarded with an incredible panoramic view from the villa that left me speechless.

Chris wore Windsor Smith weaved tan shoes which matched his pants and a blue Politix suit jacket and bow tie. His groomsmen wore tan pants, white shirts and blue bow ties to match Chris.

The Bridal Party

Rose choose block heel sandals by Novo to pair with her halter neck gown by Tadashi Shoji and a fresh flower-crown by Confetti matching her bouquet of white garden roses and daisies. Her something borrowed was her grandmother's handbag and her sapphire blue earrings completed the something blue tradition.

The First Look

The Details

The ceremony was held in the garden under a magnificent vine canopy and crystal chandelier.  The decor was timeless with white and blush English garden themed floral arrangements including daisies, garden roses and delphiniums. Chairs were decorated with a white garden rose paired with pale blush silk ribbons. Each guest was given a palm leaf fan to cool themselves under the mid afternoon sun and a banana leaf cone of white rose petals to toss over the couple.

Colors: White + Blush

Planning + Florals by Confetti Thailand.

The Ceremony

One of my favorite moments of the entire day is right after the ceremony when family and friends have a chance to congratulate the couple.

Beach Reception

As the sunset their celebrations moved from the garden to the beach where under the starry night sky they dinned on speciality Thai cuisine and craft cocktails.

The Fire Show

And then they danced the night away...
