Engagement Session in Wat Arun and Wat Pho, Bangkok Thailand
I immediately knew the perfect backdrop for Jessica and Corey's engagement session in Thailand would be the historic Wat Arun and Wat Pho. These locations along the unique and historic Old City area of Bangkok along the Chao Phraya River would be perfect for their romantic yet adventurous session.
Corey surprised his fiancée Jessica with a trip of a lifetime to Thailand from their hometown in Arizona, USA. He hid the tickets in a travel book on Thailand inside a cute Herschel backpack.
They contacted me to photograph their engagement session in Bangkok and wanting to remember their time in Thailand. I knew right away they wanted me to capture their love and personalties but also of the quintessential historic Thai architecture.
For their 2 hour session, we first explored Wat Arun, then crossed the Chao Phraya River on a boat to Ta Tien Pier , a quick walk to Wat Pho and ending the shoot in time for lunch along the river at Supanniga Eating Room with excellent Michelin recommended cuisine and a private pier.
Congratulations to Corey and Jessica! Thank you for choosing me to document your adventures in Bangkok.
